Looking Good!

Looking Good!

Meet Mark, a plumber on our new church building project. Today was his first day working at our site…he was having to correct an earlier plumber’s error. Mark was born on Île de la Tortue (Tortuga Island) in Haiti where pirates used to hide in the 1700s. He immigrated to the U.S. to Naples when he was 13 years old, and now he’s 26. When I told him I was the pastor of the church, he said his dream is to help build a church for his Haitian pastor here in Naples. Bèl bagay wi! Ayisyen yo toupatou. Mark te banm anpil jwa!

Outside, siding, stone, and window trim continue
to go up! These important cosmetic details bring us one step closer to the finish line!

The siding slats are delivered in long pieces, then the crew on the site cut them to fit the exact dimensions of the exterior. You can see in this next photo palettes of siding and the sawhorse setup used for cutting

Inside, the ductwork installation process continues.

Views of the siding from Thursday…

On Friday, crews began to lay the first layer of asphalt for the parking lot!

Please continue to pray for the safety of all the teams involved as many continue to work up high on lifts, scaffolding, and ladders. Pray for God’s protection against these and other hazards!
