There is more progress: this past week they began to go vertical as you’ll see in the photos below. Next week they will be installing underground plumbing and underground electric.
Manuel is operating a small cement machine that is used to fill the bocks of our “stem wall” with wet concrete (see the photos below.) He asked me yesterday with a big smile, “¿Cuándo estará lista la iglesia? (When will the church be ready?) I told him, “Hopefully in March or April!” Please pray for Manuel and all those who are working on the building project.
You can see the newly poured concrete for the 16″ stem wall. This is what the site manager meant by “going vertical” this week! Progress was made in digging the retention pond! It will be 12 feet deep and hopefully stocked with fish.
