Once again, several drier days this week allowed for tremendous progress at our building site this week! Read on to see a chronology of the week’s progress…
The remainder of Michigan steel arrives on a soggy Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday morning the crew at the site and the deliverymen from Michigan were up and at ’em! Terry Whaley (left) and Myron Palmer (right) from Redeemer OPC in Ada Michigan brought this week’s load of steel. We are so grateful for their hard work! With the tie beams completed, the workers continue to move upward. Can you see part of the roof line of our building starting to take shape?
These next photos were taken Thursday morning. Notice the builders have raised their scaffolding!
Look at all the steel!
These next three photos were taken late Friday afternoon …see the progress on the high wall?
This last photo is of a Christian man working on our site named Douglas. He came to the states 17 years ago when he was 19, married just a few years ago, and now has two sons. He is currently pursuing citizenship and loves his new life in the USA. He told me it was a privilege to be working on a church project and was thankful to know that we pray regularly for the work crew in our church. His last words to me were, “I never would have believed when I was a boy in Guatemala that I would live in America with a wonderful job and a family. I love my life!”
And finally… check out this AMAZING view progress made Friday!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
