As we await Collier County’s decisions regarding our water line, activity at the site has slowed. On Monday, however, roofers were able to continue work on the roof of the porte cochere!
Wednesday evening we had our first prayer meeting at our new location since we met on site the week before breaking ground last year. Because we do not have a Certificate of Occupancy, we gathered outdoors on the east side of the new church in the shade of the building. You can see everyone brought lawn chairs! We had 20 people total come for a very encouraging season of prayer beginning with the singing of Amazing Grace and concluding with the Doxology. To God be the glory, great things He is doing!
Sometimes the progress made at the site is not so visually obvious as the construction of the porte cochere. On Thursday, the internet installation process was completed at the site so we now have WiFi for our future livestream service.
Please continue to remember our building project in your prayers. Pray that the Lord will work in the hearts of those overseeing the process of bringing water to the building so that we can get a Certificate of Occupancy soon!
