While we wait for the water line to be hooked up, there was still some work being done this past week on the portico, or Porte Cochère. Meet Danillo, from El Salvador. He is one of the carpenters adding the custom finish work. It won’t be long now!
As Danillo did the work with the table saw, two other carpenters were on the lift to put the pieces in place. It will be beautiful!
Over the last few days, the framing of the support beams for the portico was completed.
Besides a new Kawai piano, another donor purchased for us a new electric keyboard which you can see on the floor on the other side of the piano. It is just beautiful, and has some awesome church organ sounds as well as guitar sounds!
